ERICKSON’S
USA DIET HAS CREATED A SENSATION ON THE EAST END |
Press Release January
15, 2010
In a world
contaminated with misinformation, nutritionist and inventor
John Erickson has spent over 10 years (since 1997) trying
to clean up America’s image as the unhealthiest
nation on earth. Erickson blames the health care crisis
on the billion dollar diet industry itself, saying the
endless search for gimmicks has made Americans “thoroughly
confused about food”. “Some people fear fat,
others fear carbohydrates. That’s the problem with
fad diets—they deprive” says Erickson who
believes health problems start with inconsistency and
deprivation. Medical dictionaries define a ‘fad’
as a diet that restricts any of the 3 main food groups:
protein, carbohydrate or fat. “The USA Diet offers
a balance of everything to keep the mind and body in dynamic
equilibrium, prevent food cravings, and there’s
a side-effect of fat loss.”
The USA diet has become a lifestyle for thousands of people
on the East End. “That’s where it all began”
says Erickson. “The USA Diet caters to normal people—people
who need good and ‘bad’ carbs to keep their
sanity and maintain their weight.” Steven Gorman,
owner of Domani Hair Salon, who committed to the USA Diet
just 6 months ago, claims “John changed my life.
Besides looking and feeling great, my doctor took me off
my blood pressure medication –which by the way was
costing me $160 per month because my insurance did not
cover it.”
“If a health insurance company can save this kind
of money it would change the whole debate on health care”
adds Erickson who is passionate about the USA Diet because
it’s such a realistic way of living. The nation
spends roughly $2.5 trillion each year on health care,
nearly a fifth of the American economy. How that money
is prevented from rising at its current pace — is
at the center of the debate.
