Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
have developed “age suits” to simulate your body
at the age of 75. The suit includes a brace to reduce your
neck mobility, bungee cords attached from your waist to your
feet to restrict your hip flexion, excess weight to carry
around, and bits of rubber taped under your shoe to challenge
your balance.
With the senior citizen population set to double, the
goal of the researchers is to develop products or services
to support an out-of-shape 75 year old body. They are counting
